Gary enjoys helping people, whether it be guiding a first-time buyer or helping someone downsize. “As a Realtor® I get to see people at their best and sometimes at their worst. Helping people navigate a transaction and being empathetic is enjoyable. The way your deal with people varies based on what they are trying to do. A first-time buyer needs to know every offer isn’t going to be accepted…and someone selling their home needs to know we’ll work with them so they have a roof over their head.”
“We’ve helped people sell their home before a foreclosure or buy before the baby comes.”
Gary spent most of his career running very large data centers, giving him an appreciation for the systems in a building and very high standards for operations. “I may have learned the most at Fidelity Investments. Fidelity needs to be up and running around the clock because their customers are all over the world and there’s generally trading going on around the world. While a home may not have or need full redundancy, you recognize quality in the house systems.”
Gary forms half the GK Group, with Sue Gordon. Sue and Gary have worked together since 2017. We strive to help people always. It’s an honor to be invited to a clients’ wedding, or help when someone calls and says, “I’ve locked myself out of the house, what can I do?”
If you are looking to move to Maine or purchase a second home, we can help. Sue is a licensed real estate agent in both Massachusetts and Maine. Sue has been a real estate agent since 2014 after watching her home sale and feeling there was a better way. “I felt abandoned in the process, and my agent made me feel I was bothering her. I swore I wouldn’t let a client struggle.” Her goal is to help people find their dream home and be happy where they live.
“I’ve been affiliated with several real estate companies and franchises, giving me a broad perspective in the industry. I recognize quality agents and am comfortable helping getting to the closing table.”
She began her real estate career in 2008 as an office administrator, where she used her graphic design background helping agents. While she was born and raised in Newton, she’s lived in Southborough since 1999. “I was drawn to Southborough for the small-town feel, and my two children enjoyed all the school system has to offer.
She forms half the team in the GK Group, working with Gary Kelley. She and Gary complement each other well. He loves the systems of the homes and the listing process, while she loves the design features and touring houses with her buyers/sellers.
“We have exclusively used Gary and Sue for all our real estate needs over the last several years. They have gone above and beyond their call of duty. I do not consider them to be agents, but more as my go to with questions, valuations, and even legal and financing advise. At this point we all work together as a well oiled machine. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”
